For my selected project track, I chose to focus on the New Balance 740 design because it is one of my favorite footwear models from the brand. The design stands out for its combination of comfort, versatility, and modern aesthetic, making it suitable for a wide range of occasions. Its balance between functionality and style inspired me to explore how the design process can be enhanced within the fashion industry.

Throughout the workflow for this project, I examined the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing a product inspired by the New Balance 740 design. AI can serve as a creative and analytical tool throughout multiple stages of the fashion design process, including trend research, concept development, design visualization, material selection, performance testing, and marketing strategy. By integrating AI’s ability to process data and generate insights with human creativity and design expertise, fashion teams can create products more efficiently while maintaining originality and responding effectively to consumer needs and expectations.
